POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Directors/Senior Management of the company the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for successfully managing the inventory, and logistics within the business as well as developing and implementing efficiencies and initiatives to support the diversification and growth of the business.

MAIN ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MANAGEMENT

  • Oversee entire supply chain and warehouse team.

  • Manage the departmental budget within the business.

  • Assisting with Projects in line with company objectives as required.

  • Developing processes (SOP’s) with other functional areas of the business.

  • Reporting on sales, fulfillment and inventory performance.

  • Identifying efficiency improvements and cost reductions.

  • Departmental budget management.

  • Management and development of company ERP System

PROCUREMENT, WAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS

  • Procurement of all products.

  • Development of the international supply chain.

  • Developing relationships with suppliers.

  • Logistics management, import, export and domestic.

  • Generation and management of paperwork to support international trade.

  • Ensuring compliance within export/import regulations within supply chain.

  • Negotiation of prices and terms  with suppliers and service providers.

  • Monitoring supplier and service provider performance.

  • Management of warehouse operation.

  • Dangerous goods storage and distribution management.

  • Set-up of new suppliers, products and brands.

  • Set-up of EDI systems.

INVENTORY, QUALITY & COMPLIANCE

  • Management of inventory levels, inventory records, and Bom’s.

  • Stock valuations and analysis.

  • Monitoring and amendment of forecasts to meet supply chain requirements.

  • Monitoring and improving inventory turnover.

  • Participate in the planning and implementation of new product launches.

  • Management of company Non-conformance and corrective action process.

  • Improving quality systems and processes within the business.

  • Ensuring product compliance for domestic and international markets.

  • Monitoring of all systems within the company.

  • Implementation of ISO within the business.

KEY EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 years experience within an inventory management, supply chain role.

  • Management of inventory within an ERP system.

  • Strong IT skills, in particular Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level.

  • Generation of commercial paperwork for import/export process.

  • Supplier management and contract/cost negotiation.

  • Team management experience with strong communication skills.

  • Experience within the cosmeceutical, pharmaceuticals, aesthetics, healthcare or beauty industry would be desirable.

  • Qualified to A Level standard or equivalent
